The second part of our trip, in Valencia, was for the purpose of attending the final races (Moto3, Moto2, MotoGP) of the 2022 MotoGP season. Going into these races, the Moto3 championship was the ONLY one that had been decided. The promoters for this race dubbed it “The Decider”.
A little corny, but still a tense weekend for Moto2 and MotoGP. We were fortunate to be able to get VIP Village passes, which meant a private grandstand on the front straight, a club with catering and big screens, the opportunity to walk pit lane each day (Saturday & Sunday), and the opportunity to take a tour of the paddock (the “backstage” for riders and teams).
To say that it was a crazy, chaotic weekend would be an understatement. But the chaos was FAR outweighed by the sheer joy and excitement of being back at a MotoGP race! Ricardo Tormo was a new circuit for us, and it did not disappoint.

TONS of photos, not many of them good! 😂 However the weekend was great! We drank lots of prosecco, ate great food, watched the crowning of TWO champions, and got to enjoy our favorite sport in person. And I got to do it with my favorite person on the planet! I am so fortunate.
